Meet the Safeguarding Team

At Northallerton School & Sixth Form College, safeguarding is our highest priority. We are fully committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and able to thrive. Our staff are trained to recognise and respond to any concerns, and we work closely with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure the wellbeing of all young people in our care.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Miss J Smith, who oversees all safeguarding and child protection procedures within the school. She is supported by our wider school staff team, who work together to ensure that concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.

We encourage anyone – students, parents, carers or visitors – to speak to a member of the safeguarding team if they have any worries about a child’s safety or wellbeing.
